NVSP Correction of Electoral Rolls
Form 8 is used for Correction of entries in the Electoral Rolls. Kindly follow the below procedure to apply for Form 8.

Who can file Form-8
It can be filed by a person whose name is already included in the electoral roll seeking correction to his/her particulars already printed in the electoral roll.
When Form-8 can be filed
1. The application can be filed after draft publication of electoral roll of the constituency within the specific days provided for the purpose.
2. Only one copy of the application is to be filed.
3. During non-revision period, application must be filed in duplicate.
Where to file Form-8
1. During revision period, the application can be filed at the designated locations where the draft electoral roll is displayed as well as the Electoral Registration Officer and Assistant Electoral Registration Officer of the constituency.
2. When revision programme is not going on, it can be filed only with the Electoral Registration Officer.
How to Fill up Form-8
Online Application
To File an Online Application Visit the NVSP official website and Click the Correction of entries in electoral roll link
Enter the following details to complete your Registration,
Step 1 : Select your Language (Hindi/English/Malayalam)
Step 2 : Select your State * (Tamil Nadu)
Step 3 : Select your Assembly/Parliamentary Constituency
Step 4 : Enter your Name * (Karthick)
Step 5 : Enter your Surname (if you have any Surname please enter)
Step 6 : Enter your Part number of electoral roll *(123)
Step 7 : Enter the Serial No. of Electoral Roll *(001)
Step 8 : Enter Elector’s Photo Identity Card Number(ABC123456)
Step 9 : Please tick the entry which is to be corrected *
** Name
** My Photograph
** Elector’s Photo Identity Card Number
** Address
** Date of Birth
** Age
** Name of Relative
** Type of Relation
** Gender
Step 10 : The correct particulars in entry to be corrected are as below (Enter the details of which you want to be correct)
Ex. If you want to correct your Name then enter your Name and Surname as it should appear in the electoral roll.
Step 11 : Upload Supporting Document ((Supported formats .jpg,.png,.bmp,.jpeg)
Step 12 : Select Type Of Document (Birth Certificate/ Marksheet/ Indian Passport/ PAN Card/ Driving License/ Aadhaar letter)
Step 13 : Enter your Email ID(karthick@gmail.com)
Step 14 : Enter your ten digit Mobile Number (9999900000)
Step 15 : Select your Place *(Kovilpatti)
Step 16 : Enter the Date (Current date of the Application to be filed)
Step 17 : Finally Click on the Submit button

Download the Application form form the official website and fill the below details
1. Enter the name of the constituency should be mentioned in the blank space.
2. In Part I of the Application, please write your name, as it should appear in the electoral roll.
3. Fill up the Part Number and serial number in that part of electoral roll

5. Select Sex (Male/ Female/ Other)
6. Enter your Date of Birth
7. Enter your Relation’s Name
8. Enter the Place of Ordinary Residence
9. Enter the Details of Electors’ Photo Identity Card.
10. Enter the Details of entries to be corrected.
You have indicated the correct details about your name, age, date of birth, relations name, sex, address and photo identity card and put a tick mark on the details that need to be corrected
11. Give your mobile number and E-mail I.D in the Form , which is optional.

I filled all the details that need to be corrected in the form 8 online. After submitting it says ‘FILL ALL THE REQUIRED FIELDS’.But I rechecked the form and its all correctly filled.Please resolve this issue soon.

Every day we check the status of application form but from the date of submission to till date status showing only your application is submitted.
