Janasena Party was formally announced by Mr.Pawan Kalyan on 14 March at Hyderabad. Janasena means People’s Army in Telugu.

Janasena Donations

The party has been approved by Indian Election Commission on 11 December 2014 and will contest elections in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana for the upcoming 2019 elections.

Significance of Emblem

The Party Emblem is a combination forces that define our nation’s life and struggle.

White Background

The white background on which it stands signifies the peace and stability of several thousands of years of Indian civilisation and culture.

Colour Red

The Emblem itself is in the colour red, which signifies revolution. A deep and true change from within, yet the story of that change is told on the stable background of our ancient nation.

Six-pointed Star

The star in the Emblem is a six pointed star that signifies the 6 ideals of our party. The six ideals are mixed with our blood as we are sons and daughters of those ideals handed down to us from several generations. The white in the star signifies self-luminosity which shines on its own because ideals are lights unto our path.

Dot in the centre

The dot in the centre represents the soul of every being. The soul is our true reality, our ultimate truth. The soul at the centre is also at the heart of everything we do as individuals and as a nation.

Black Lining

The black lining on the emblem symbolises the balance between revolutionary zeal and its opposing forces to avoid one-sidedness and discordance. It represents the harmony of the opposites.

Ideology

** An ideology is a set of ideals and principles that form the core of any person or group of people or society or a nation.
** Complete and unflinching faith in those principles makes them into an ideology that becomes a guiding light.

** Ideals are values that one stands by and uses them to navigate through the thick and thin of a journey.
** The most important feature of an ideology is that the values laid in an ideology do not change when the circumstances change.

** Nothing could be more important than this.
** The frustration of our people with politics and political leaders is that they do not stand for a firm ideal or value.

** Jana Sena’s ideology comes from this firm belief of Mr. Pawan Kalyan that in public life one must stand by one’s convictions and not lose faith in them when the situations become tough.
