What is Emergency Response Support System?
ERSS is a 24X7, efficient and effective response system which works in a unified platform for processing emergency signals from various voice and data services such as call, SMS, e-mail. Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Prem Singh Tamang Golay launches the Emergency Response Support System (ERSS) during the inaugural function of Bhaichung Stadium at Namchi on 31st October 2021.
This vehicle specialized in single emergency response number which is 112 for addressing all types of citizen emergency. The person in distress can dial 112 from their phone, incase of panic alert for basic phones they can press the numbers 5 or 8 for a while for smart phones the citizens can press power button 3 or 5 times in a swift motion.
The citizens can also shoot an email to dial.112@sikkim.gov.in or use 112 India Mobile Application. For web request one can visit the website www.sk.erss.in . ERSS is citizen friendly and an efficient operation for catering to emergency calls.
Why Sikkim Krantikari Morcha Party?
Citizens of Sikkim have many aspirations for their state. For the last 25 years, Pawan Kumar Chamling has taken absolute control of power, undermining the core values of democracy. Threats against democratic Sikkim have increased many folds under the present dictatorial regime. Unification of the divided Sikkimese society on communal and religious lines is the need of the hour to secure and protect Sikkim.
The security armor of Sikkim-Article 371F of the Constitution of India, which has persistently been diluted and weakened by Chamling, needs to be protected from future dilution. Issues like restoration of the lost reserved seats of Sikkimese of Nepali and Tsong origins, reservation of the scheduled tribe’s seats for Limboo and Tamang in the Sikkim legislative assembly, and bringing the 17th Karmapa to Sikkim have failed to be resolved.
