What is Sikkim Entrepreneurship & Economic Development Cell?
To encourage local unemployed youth and develop their entrepreneurial skills by helping them establish any commercially venture in Sikkim. We are an organization committed to developing entrepreneurship in Sikkim with an overall objective to facilitate and encourage both urban & rural entrepreneurs.

Our aim is to identify and empower Sikkimese youths with entrepreneurial traits and equip them with modern tools and best practices. Our effort is directed towards discovering new opportunities for unemployed youths to become self-reliant and help them build sustainable and scalable businesses.
We also want to provide end-to-end coverage of Sikkim’s Startup ecosystem and therefore imbibe a culture of innovation and creativity in creating new markets and serving a new generation of consumers.

SEED Mission Activities
The SEED Cell under the leadership of our Chief Patron cum Hon’ble Chief Minister, will have a three-tier interdependent structure for implementation of the programme.
Overall Mission:
Overall Mission will be headed by a Chief Mentor (Shri Lakpa Moktan) at the state level in coordination with Mission Director, Chief Coordinator, General Secretaries, Treasurers, Project Directors, State Coordinators, Core Committee Members and Resource Persons.
Operational Part:
Operational Part will be headed by the Mission Director in coordination with Chief Coordinator, Chief Operating Officer, Mobilizer, Counsellor, Administrative Staffs, State Coordinators, District level Coordinators, Constituency level Coordinators and Ward level Coordinators.
Execution Part:
Execution Part will be headed by the Mission Director in coordination with Chief Coordinator, Chief Operating Officer, Mobilizer, Counsellor, Administrative Staffs, State Coordinators, District level Coordinators, Constituency level Coordinators and Ward level Coordinators.
Vision & Mission:
** To build a sustainable ecosystem in entrepreneurship by focusing on the coexistence and interaction of economic, social, and environmental development in Sikkim.
** To empower youths and make them self-reliant and provide sustainable livelihood opportunities to the people of Sikkim.
** To create critical, creative & practical projects that have the potential to impact the youth through entrepreneurial skills.
** To provide Information / Trainings on subsidised programmes and schemes thus supporting their prosperity.
** To promote local youths and self-help groups to boost the local economy and promote micro-entrepreneurship instill and the entrepreneurial attitude.
** To translate the acquired training into reality for having different livelihood options according to the choice of individual and availability.
** To create awareness among the unemployed youth about the various industrial and other Government training programmes.
