Nagaland Assembly Elections

The Nagaland Legislative Assembly election, 2018 will be held on 27 February 2018 in 59 out of 60 constituencies of the Legislative Assembly of Nagaland. The scheduled election in Northern Angami II constituency will not take place as only incumbent MLA Neiphiu Rio was nominated and was therefore declared elected unopposed.

I will be attaining the age of 18 soon. What proof do I need to show to get enrolled?
You can submit the proof of Date of Birth from the authorized agency (Passport, Matriculation certificate, Date of Birth certificate etc.

Can one be enrolled at more than one place?
A person cannot be enrolled as a voter in more than one place in the same constituency or in more than one constituency in view of the provisions contained under Sec. 17 and 18 of R.P.Act, 1950.

I have lost my old EPIC Card. How can I get a new EPIC Card?
You may report to the Police Station and with a copy of that report apply to ERO for a replacement EPIC with a fee of Rs twenty five only.

I have shifted my residence recently. How do I ensure that I am enrolled in my new place of residence and my name is deleted from the old place?
In case new residence is in the same constituency please fill up form 8A otherwise form 6 and submit to ERO or AERO of the area of your new residence.

I have shifted my residence recently. I have EPIC Card with the old address. Can I get new EPIC Card for the present address?
First of all please ensure that you have enrolled your self in the Electoral Roll of the concerned AC, where you are now residing Procedure is given as in ans no.4. Subsequently, changes will be made in existing EPIC Card and provided to you by ERO.

My old EPIC Card is defective. I would like to have a new EPIC Card with correct particulars. What is the procedure?
You can get your EPIC Card rectified by depositing it in the Office of the ERO concerned.

Please give me details of my Polling Station. Who do I contact to get these details?
You may ring up toll free number 1950 and give your complete address for finding out your polling station.You can also check it from CEO office website www.ceonagaland.nic.in
