How do I update my address if I have moved to a new location?
Address changes can be done after the publication of draft electoral roll on 09.12.2025. The elector can apply in Form 8 to the Electoral Registration Officer for updating the address. These forms will be processed during the Claims and Objections period, from 09.12.2025 (Tuesday) to 08.01.2026 (Thursday). These changes will be reflected in the final roll
If an elector is not available in his house, during the visit of the BLO, how can he submit the Enumeration Form?
If an elector is not available in person to fill the details in the Enumeration Form, on behalf of the elector any adult member of the family can fill up and sign the Enumeration Form and can submit it.
Can I make corrections in the Enumeration Form or do I need to get a fresh Enumeration Form from the Booth Level Officer?
There is no provision to obtain a fresh form, corrections if any shall be made in the Enumeration Form ensuring that corrected information is written clearly and accurately before submitting the form to the Booth Level Officer.
Is it mandatory to provide Aadhaar number for submission of Enumeration Form?
No, providing Aadhaar number in the Enumeration Form is optional and only if elector desires to provide it, they can fill the Aadhaar number in the Form.
What should I do if the photograph printed in my Enumeration Form is incorrect or outdated?
A copy of the recent photograph shall be affixed in the Enumeration Form in the space provided for it.
